Not the original frog it has been poorly resewn. No original finish on scabbard. Not much value.
It looks like the scabbard has been sandblasted or something
The frog appears to be for a small blade possibly some sort of firemens or civil bayonet real but do not belong together and the scabbard has been heavily sanded or blasted all the original finish off
Frog is the Slim middle varity with no reinforcement center seam stiching it is for the KS98 Military dress bayonet Scabbard looks from s84/98 (Service bayonet) forced into the leather as they normally do not fit the dress KS98 lightweight frogs. IMO timothy
Thanks Timothy for pointing that out..I can see where now that the scabbard does not fit through the hanger opening and never made it all the way through.
