The original K98 bayonet, produced by FW Holler Solingen during the 1943.
But these bayonet was reworked after the war, for some other armies.
(Original steel finishing line as well as blue, are totally missing after reworked.)

Very true probably not Yugoslavia for example as they scrubbed ampts waa on them this one has been reserial numbered by some country maybe Sleepwalker or Frogprince will come along and tell us. Bayonet is in overall good shape though. timothy

The only reworks that I have seriously tracked are the TR period refurbished bayonets. Being in agreement with Vedran that the one here appears to be postwar, but relatively minimal as compared to some others that were more heavily reworked. Best Regards, Fred

would be an original F.W. Holler, Solingen 43 ,refurbished at 622 serial number, for another country ,┐correct?

Exactly, I think that is Portuguese k98 bayonet, but I'm not 100% sure.
