    Hello,

    very nice examples.

    The S84/98 "Narrow pattern" was used by german police, Postschutz or Bahnschutz.

    In additional to the shown bayontes some other Variations

    Here is a S 84/98 n.A. out of the WW1, refurbished and fitted with new gripps and fleshguard.

    All these settings were made after 1932.

    "M" is the Reichwehrdepot in Mainz.

    Reichswehr unit stamp: VI l.A.K. 77 = leichte Artillerie Kolonne, VI. Armee-Korps, Nr. 77

    Some more nice groupings of bayonets, you can also sometimes find Reichswehr period bayonets that were armory/depot reworked during the TR period with renumbered components from both eras on the same bayonet. Best Regards, Fred

    The reworking of the older S84/98 started in 1932 by order und ended in 1945. You can make out differeneces in the time oeriod only by a depot stamp.
