    Ah, I like stag handles very much. I only have the few items that pertain to the Third Reich but have a few others that I've found over the years. Stag is sharp.
    Question: What is the reason for the point to have that configuration? Looks double edged then single with the blood groove.

    Anyway I like it's looks.

    Nice original item.

    The blade was just for show on these, so the design was purely for looks alone.

    Nice E & F Horster dress bayonet !

    The spear point tip has what is known as a 'false edge'
    on the spine of the blade. As Ade says,
    purely decorative..............
