i think so these are my first two bayonets in the collection everything else is either SA, LUFT, etc. funny thing is a gunsmith had these brought back with him, he packed the K98 bayonet in cosmoline maby that wasent fun trying to get off after quite a few years, of being on there!

your right the pub can be more at times than collecting. lol. next time i will remember that about the gas trick, thanks so much for telling me that.

ps there is two of the same markings on the K98 that i am not quite sure of could some help me with this it is just below the top of the eagle. here is a picture of the marks. thanks john
