Auschwitz Then And Now
A pair of reflective images showing the main entrance to Auschwitz-I, taken shortly after the liberation and a similar view, taken recently. Both views show the infamous Arbeit Macht Frei slogan above the gate, along with the inside of the prisoner compound including the spot next to the gate where the camp orchestra used to play as prisoners marched to and from their work detail.
