Well done Gunny, I have heard of this fine gentleman before, but it is a real pleasure to see him recognised once more. One of the lesser known and appreciated men against Fascism, who most likely has been slightly over looked due to not being a European. Leon.

Well worth mentioning indeed. I visited his memorial in Vilnius - Lithuania in 2011.

It is just outside the "Vilna Gaon State Jewish Museum".
