Dachau visit - Current Photos (spring 2017)
Article about: Was in Munich last week. While a family vacation including my wife, boys and (sister-in-law who met us from the other side of the globe), I did get my one "ask" for everyone to see

My father was stationed in Germany and we, as a family, visited here on our way back from a vacation at the alpine AFRC at Berchtesgaden. Still looks much like I recall the place. Is the museum still there? It was in the gatehouse when we visited and had large photos on display which were pretty disturbing. It was an interesting vacation for me, seeing the Obersalzberg, and doing things like the General Walker bunker tour there, and seeing the camp at Dachau.

The museum is now in the large Processing hall. It is quite large and informative. TBH I was expecting something much more disturbing and prepped my two boys (12 & 14). But it was all very well done. I guess I was expecting something more like Auschwitz but Dachau was not truly a "death camp". Either way, it was sobering.
