Faces of Auschwitz brought back to life
Good morning guys,
Maybe you already know this, but I just saw this today.
The Brazilian artist Marina Amaral used her skills in photography to bring back to life the faces of Auschwitz.
She used the pictures taken by camp photographer Wilhelm Brasse and I must say the result is striking. I am very impressed by the images, as I have never seen them in color and it just makes it so real.
I hope the link works proparly, it is a link to the gallery on website of a Dutch newspaper:

If the link does not work, please let me know.
And here is the website of the artist, Marina Amaral Photo Colorization, click on Portfolio to see more interesting photographs in color.
Have a good day.
Regards, Rik

It really is quite an emotional thing to see these in colour, really brings out the "life" in these peoples faces. A very worth while project, thanks for showing it. Leon.
