I just got offered this Juden Stern from a legacy.
Don't know much about them other then lots of fakes...
All the other items from this legacy were authentic..
Let me know what you think.

In my opinion this is a reproduction..
Looks like somebody took a sharpie marker and wrote it on this piece of cloth..
Curious to know what other items the "legacy" had.. Would like to see them

I agree, looks hand drawn with marker pen.
TThe other items are marching boots, field telephone and other inexpensive German ww2 items. Sent me your mail and I will mail them
Does antbody know how and what material was used for the word 'Jude'?
Thanks for the input so far
Stg34,
It appears to be any typical permanent black marker such as a "Sharpie pen" The outline of the Star of David also looks to have been with a fine point sharpie pen or other permanent marker...
Looking closer at the writing it appears that the "E" in Jude, I can see where the marker started the letter, it looks rounded like the tip of a pen sat on the fabric before it was drug across the fabric to finish the letter..
So again my assessment of this Star is that it is a copy...
Thank you.. If you don't mind, could you post the other items here for us to see in the appropriate sections rather than send me the pictures to my email... it would benefit others who would also like to see the items rather than just sending the pictures to me..
Best regards
Smitty
