B = Belgier (Belgian)
F = Franzosen (French)
H = Holländer (Dutch)
I = Italiener (Italian)
J = Jugoslawen (Yugoslav)
N = Norweger (Norwegian)
P = Polen (Pole)
S = Republikanische Spanier (Republican Spanish)
T = Tschechen (Czech)
U = Ungarn (Hungarian)
Z = Zigeuner (Gypsy)
Another abbreviation was used to designate Soviet POWs, SU = Sowjet Untermensch (Soviet Sub-Human)
