    KL-Buchenwald

Site of the former postal control office at the major camp near Weimar. The post office was located within the SS area, near the SS-Garages and SS-Guard House. Feint traces of the outline of the foundations are fortunately still visible.

    Carl,
Who would have done the censoring? SS-Helferin?
Would be good to be able to decipher some of the initials on the censorship stamps to find out a name.

One would need to find a record of exactly who was posted within the mail control office.

note: the poster of this question was informed that the forum will not tolorate such a username. When asked to choose an alternative, they stated that they no longer wished to be part of the forum. Glad to oblige.

    KZ-Außenlager München-68 (Dachau satellite camp)

Unusual and interesting example from a sub-camp of Dachau, München-68 - designated here as an "Arbeitslager" (labour camp)
