It took me a while (a new born interrupted me!) but I have just finished reading this fine work. A study of the KL that I would thoroughly recommend to anyone interested in the pre-war and war period history of the KL. It also addresses the post war "miss-use" of KL sites as areas of soviet or western propaganda. Leon.

An amazing read, and worthy of anyone interested in the KL system, the pre -war instigation of the camp system and subsequent adaptions and rectifications is eye opening in itself
