Hi, i have never seen the name of any KL stamped onto prisoners uniform. Also the same stamp has been used on the document. Personally i think the uniform section is an out and out fake and the document has been messed around with. This would be better shown in the Konsentrationslager sub section for Carl to look at, but i think you will get the same answer. Leon.

I would tend to agree with what has been said above.
The cloth item is surely bogus, as are the stamps on the identity card.
As for the card itself, I cannot make a truly qualified statement, as I know nothing about Polish documents, but my gut feeling is it is real. However, I strongly doubt it is for the Auschwitz prisoner listed in the memorial book. Note that the prisoner's date of birth is listed as being 1906, while the ID card holder was born in 1893.
