SS tag,,,,,what is this???

looks like a clothing tag for a black overcoat to me,,,but is being touted as being from Buchenwald,,,all comments and opinions welcomed,,,

I have never seen a metal tag like this used for any SS garment. For me, it is a total fantasy piece. I will move this thread to the KZ sub forum for Carl to comment on.

Are there any period photos of these tags to confirm authenticity? I am also willing to learn but am skeptical without photo evidence..

The Collectors Guild has a couple for sale.

I don't want to comment on originality of these items, but the Guild has a good reputation.

They are in the SS Personal items section.

PS they are of a slightly different style.
