hello i want to buy a set of KM dagger hangers
but are the one with the brass fittings pre or post war ? i have a late war dagger

Hi Hans, for a late war dagger I think hangers with zinc, gilt washed fittings would be fine.

Brass fittings are early. Not sure about their use post war, but I am sure someone with more expertise than me will be able to help you.

hello i have found a nice hanger with alu fittings it have arrived yesterday
it make a nice display with the naval dagger

Hello Hans,

Like others have said the brass based hangers were pre war. They were used during the TR period though as were many 1st Pattern daggers. Officers would re-pommel their dagger with the TR eagle and keep the original hangers. Given the wages, and the fact they had to buy much of their own equipment in those days, I don't blame them. Probably the smartest thing to do.
