Kriegsmarine 2nd model Hörster etched dagger with portepee. - Need Help in Authentication
Hi guys,
I would like to ask you for help with this navy dagger Horster marked. It was told to me it was originaly reichsmarine dagger (regarding the make mark used) with pommel changed to KM later. I would like to ask you if it is good dagger or not and if the story is true, if the pommel is also Horster type or other type. Any opinion is welcome.

Hello Mike.
The pommel of this dagger is not a replacement eagle. The pommel is by Eickhorn.
The scabbard looks to be a late Reichsmarine scabbard by WKC. The blade is postwar.
