Great dagger with provenance..with a not so commonly seen producer
The scabbard still has much of its original gilt process. Does the blade etch have the standard "fowled anchor"..or the sailing ship motiff?

Wow Paul Bravo
You have the lesser seen of the 2 motifs. Very desirable among Kriegsmarine collectors. Hang onto this dagger..you have 2 rarities in 1 dagger.
The Naval Gents here will appreciate this very much.
Thanks for sharing Regards Larry

Hello Paul.
The crossguard is in a wrong position. You must assemble the dagger correctly. Please take a look at the crossguard of my Puma dagger. You will understand what I mean.
Best,
Oleg.
Interesting dagger Paul. The dagger has definitely been apart at some time as the crossguard is upside down, the grip is also on back to front, the sailing ship was the only etch Puma used on their navy blades. The other unusual thing about this is the scabbard is a Holler product, you can tell this by the leaf pattern on the bands. The buffer pads Puma used were red felt, hard to tell with the picture but this one looks leather which could also be from a Holler. Dagger appears to have been messed with.
Best Tomaz.
Paul,
could you make a picture of the bottom part of the scabbard, please?
Best,
Oleg.
Hi Oleg, if the scabbard is not a Holler product and it is what I consider to be a generic (I know you disagree) it is still fit with Holler leaf bands and this will be further indication that Puma sourced their parts from other companies. Here are the same bands placed upside down on Sorge's rare Klass who also did not manufacture their own navy parts.
