    I always start at the acorn end and work backwards, i tried it the other way quite a few times and got so frustrated i nearly threw the whole lot out the window, there is no way that acorn goes through the knot if you start from the top, but once youve tied five or six it gets easier but i still need the diagram

    Is there a proper step by step diagram?

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

    Yes, someone posted it the other day on another KM dagger thread, but i got mine from the German Embassy in London many years ago
    Adrian, 23.9.11 was the date for the other post, sorry i dont know howto call up the ref no/

    Thanks Dave, I found it. The portepee on my Heer dagger looks too long and a bit untidy so I might move it to my Kriegsmarine - I have a feeling I might need to find the correct frame of mind though - and be alone in the house!
