Looks like a nice 2nd Model Kreig's dagger. Maybe $1200.
Regards, Corey
Most of the gilt finish has faded or worn, but it Does have the upgraded pebble finish sheath which is quite nice to have and the fragile grip is nice and crack free. The Anchor etching on the blade looks nice and crisp. A shame it's missing it's portapee! Who is the maker? Value? Right around the $900-1000 mark.

Great 2nd Naval,, definitely a plus to have one with a pebbled finish scabbard. Nice find! Larry
Are you sure about the gilt? I read they were made of brass and some were plated or fire gilt.
Look around the scabbard hanger mounts-you can still see bright traces of the gilding around them-around the scabbard tip too. The front of the eagle pommel you can see gilding also, but not on it's back. I wouldn't worry about it, though-it's still a decent KM.
