    I am for sure no expert in daggers, but i think that the eagle is very poorly detailed. I don't know if everything is wrong but i would walk away from it. It doesnt feel original to me.

    I agree that it would be better to leave this one alone. The scabbard and crossguard are original. The blade looks original but it's hard to tell since it's in terrible condition. The pommel doesn't look good. I would say it's a post war addition.

    I agree with others and also the bottom of the grip has been cut off and the cut off bit is stuck in the top of the cross guard.
