A 57er Deumer KVK II with swords.

Gents...a minty Deumer KVK II with swords.......notice how the tails of the 9's in 1939 run parallel with each other on a St u L they do not.......there are other subtle differences between the two makers.

Or are the differences in makers purely in the details of the construction.

Correct Mark....no mm's any where on the cross just ,its down to makers characteristics !

Great looking piece Steve and thank you for pointing out the small difference between makers. I doubt many of us - including me - would have noticed such a minor detail.

I'm guessing there were just the two makers of these 1957 pieces?

Adrian..I have seen Deumer, St u L and Souval KVK's no more have to my knowledge been identified at time of post. The Souval ones are horrible quality cast items, they seem to have made them alongside their one piece cast EK's for Austrian veterans !
