    Hi John,

    It's no good, a fake Deschler. Obverse side should have an indent top and bottom of the crossed ribbon at 12 o'clock on the wreath, date shield is wrong, the '9' in 1941 bears no resemblance to a genuine Deschler wreath date, rays and sunburst also way out.

    Reverse is even worse, wrong hinge, catch, maker mark '1' and the fact that Deschler only ever used solid domed rivets not hollow ones all show this cross is junk.

    Hello John,
    Ned is correct, it is a bad one. When you buy something like a German cross, you really need to research them (these are a minefield if you have no idea what you are looking at).
