Kriegsverdienstmedaille - original or fake?
not 100% sure but i think this is a war merit cross 3rd class. this is the only pic I was able to get at the antique store before my camera died. anyway the seller wanted $50 us for it. not sure if thats a good price or not.
it has a long ribbon but not sure if the ribbon colors are correct? i think it should be red stripes so would like to know if its original alone with the cross itself?

Looks OK to me. The colour has faded on the ribbon, not unusual.
$50 seems a tad high.

yes it looks orange to me unless this is a different version. anyway is 50 bucks is a regular price for it?

It is original but a very common medal and waaaay overpriced. You can pick them up for $15 if you shop around.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

Agreed, they are probably the least expensive of TR medals
