I would not be happy with either of these Gibello. They are both fakes in my opinion, the materials look completely wrong.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
there's somthing strange about them.

I've actually found this thread interesting. I'm very much a beginner in this subject but over the last few weeks have studied and read a lot about these medals - and have added a couple of original KvKs ( 2s, not 1s ) to my collection.
Many pics of genuine medals are posted on this Forum and I was rather embarrassed to ask if we could see some fakes. The medals pictured above certainly seem to have most of the right details in the right places - but somehow ( rather like a slightly out-of-focus photo ) they just don't 'look right'.
I certainly wouldn't buy them.
