Hi Dok,

No problems with either piece for me, both are original. Interesting to see the tag on the back of the Kriegsverdienstkreuz ohne Schwerten and the interesting way of mounting it.

Try and tuck the rings in behind the folds of the ribbon too, they were supposed to be hidden, see my example below.
