KVK with swords 1st class original or fake?

Were these "62"'s casted as one peice. I am sceptical about this one because of the catch and the hinge being casted with the award and not soldered on. I have seen alot of fakes from the eastern Germany like this. This is just a question and not an opinion of this award. Thanks.

Many awards have a casted hinge and catch and I can only assume it was intended to speed up production.

It was a common practice from certain manufacturers of certain awards to cast the catch and or hinge in with the moulding of the award. A time and material saving way to produce their wares.
