    Yes, seems like a Deumer.

Similar reverse set up but compare the sword handles to a Deumer.

Welcome to the forum and thank you for posting your Grandfather's KVK. Do you have any more of his awards or anything else relating to his service?
I would urge you strongly to keep it in the family. I and many others here shudder at the thought of a family piece being sold, it's not worth a huge amount, say around $200-$250. Not worth the money to sell a family piece.
The award was made by the company Julius Bauer who had the PKZ number '43'.
Thanks for the info! I've talked my mother out of selling it. There should be an Iron Cross including lapel pin somewhere but I cannot locate it right now. I've also got a lot of WW2 paperwork from my grandfather including his de-nazification confirmation.

He was an avid photographer during his service so I have some pictures from the beach of Dunkirk after the evacuation, pics from Paris and Florence as well.

There are also plenty of Feldpost cards from my great-grandfather from WW1, pretty cool stuff.

I'll try to scan and post as much as I can.

Please do post as much as you can. Nothing beats family items and items with vet provenance.
