I believe the second one is a veteran's cap badge.
I believe the second one is a veteran's cap badge.
I think it's a tunics badge.

Hi, glad to see you posted your items OK.
The medal, with matching ribbon bar for the tunic, is a War Merit Cross 2nd with Swords, in German the Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2.Klasse mit Schwerten.
The badge is indeed a breast eagle for the Nazi backed WW1 Veterans association, the National Socialist State Soldiers League, the NSRKB or Nationalsozialistisches Reichskriegerbund . It is a shame the catch has broken off the back of the eagle.
All are good original items.
Cheers, Ade.
Thanks Ade, and a sorry for my short description, meet you morning guys

Hi Pierre, yes, the gold version will be for Naval Veterans who were members of the NSDMB. The Nationalsozialistischer Deutscher Marinebund (National Socialist German Marine Association)
Cheers, Ade.
Thanks all for the info and help.
Just wondering what are some flags that would say fake? Like if I saw one at a flea market how would I know?
That is one of those "How long is a peice of string type questions" . There are legions of fakes, made over the past 60 years from the almost laugable bendy monkey metal castings to the die struck high end fakes that would fool a great many collectors. Trying to describe fakes is a waste of time. What I would advise anyone is to study known ORIGINALS, then you will recognise any fake when you see it.
Hope this helps?
Cheers, Ade.
Ok let me try to ask something else.
What makes these 2 items I posted real?
