Dai-Nippon Teikoku Rikugun Hachi Aka Rentai

Imperial Japanese Army 8th Red Regiment

The members of the 8th Red Regiment consist of people wanting to preserve history, whose aim is to also portray the professional and highly trained
infantryman of the Imperial Japanese Army as seen in the 2nd Sino-Japanese War and the Second World War. Like with the other fractions of nations others reenact, we will recreate history by attending public displays and battle reenactments, as well as immersing ourselves in private tactical battles.

What are our goals?

It is to do the best impression we can, to help educate other people of the war so the veterans will never be forgotten. To have this group equal to other groups, and maybe one day, a group that will be recognized by others as a great group like so many others.

Please, no reference to Japanese as "Japs" or "Nips". World War II ended nearly 65 years ago. We would like to take an educational, respectful, and objective look at this former adversary.
