    Just my 2 cents worth, a Yank expression; if you happen to have any authentic WW II uniform items or equipment, best to leave it at home. Used to be many
    re-enactors wore actual uniform trousers and jackets into "battle" and the chance of ruining them is very great. There are meny sources of repro kit made specifically for this purpose, patronize these companies.

    i agree some what with what your saying but the original stuff holds up the best in the field if its not to expensive i would go for original items they also look better i do us airborne all my web gear is original and the stuff that goes in and on it the only things that aren't are a few things like the m43 jump suit pants and 42 jump suit jacket and pants and my boots
