    So, am I to understand, that these are NOT pre-1945 color pictures of a rare Japanese branch of the SS? Just curious, Rob.

    I remember seeing a photo of a Thai ss volunteer in one of the Purnells Histories mags-and the Japanese were accorded 'Honorary Aryan' status by the Nazis so I suppose it would be an outside possibility...
