My hats off to him!..............
thats a nice video
but what did he say when he got on the ground
and did he needed new shorts
Crackers!!!! But very entertaining, good durable kit though to work 60odd plus years later!
Brave man

Very brave or very fool hardy, I'm not sure which! the big problem is most of the harness would be cotton, and it would be nowhere near as strong now as it was in WWII due to cellulose deterioration, VU expose etc. I hope he isn't thinking of making a habbit of jumping using using this chute, as I don't think it would stand to many more deploments. LOL

A brave Fallschirmjager soldaten indeed!
I wouldnt do it with modern gear!!
"In all my years as a soldier, I have never seen men fight so hard." - SS Obergruppenfuhrer Wilhelm Bittrich - Arnhem
That guy must have a dead wish or very big balls, But it still very impresive that all the gear still works after so long time!
Awesome...germans made their stuff very very good!!!
Hi,
A very brave man indeed i give him all my respect, And the video
was great just to see him jump. but i would, nt not in the original kit, maybe repro stuff but not that. The music reminded me of the bundaswehr when we were around a wild boar roast and they were singing. Thanks for showing it.
dave.
Good to see that the Germans also did make fine parachutes. In Denmark I am trained in the good old T-10 parachute. I do not know how old the exact chutes are - but as far as I remember the T-10 is also a WW2 parachute.
And it worked fine - I am alive.... :-)
