Bovingtons Tankfest is well worth the trip, but get there early if driving and dont forget the camera and spare batteries!
Ive been to a few over the years and its brilliant.
My sons "volunteered" me to be part of a demonstration a few years ago....... infantry section assault out the back of a 432, that brought back some memories. (I tore a calf tendon doing it as well, had my leg strapped and raised for the next 10 days!) Still, I enjoyed it and my lads got to see that their old man could still hack it and remember his "advance to contact section drills"!

    Regards etc

Once I get some pics through from our group members, I will post them here. I never took a pic myself, just too busy! Hoards of public!

    Cheers, Ade.

Ade, was it good? Any unusual vehicles there? And was the donation of £1.5 million made to Bovington by the Kuwaiti's?
    Reagrds to all, Simon.
