    Some other pics from Frontleven.

These are all pics from in Geluwe.

@ Adrian stevenson: I found that the movie "kelly's heroes" is a blame for the 35th ID.

@ Tomegn: Thanks for the comment, I will keep this topic updated

Haha, we don't have members who have XXL clothes. xD
Our moto is: If you want to do something, do it right.
You got a lot of FARBS in the re-enacting world.
    But we are different.

If we are allowed to use blanks? only on events where they ask us to do this or when we do a mock battle at an event (not the cowboy battle's, the serieus one)
the group used Blanks at Whings and Wheels.

    Kind Regards Vincent

    Its time for an update.
There was a big event past saterday. It was a historical walk named "In The Footsteps Of The 82nd AB".
A trail of 19km and i can assure you all, it was tough but it was it worth.
After just 1.5km was an obstacle, i little river and no bridge (accept that wooden shelf of 15cm wide that was frozen and slippery)
We went right trough it (i was soaking wet untill my knee)
It was darn cold, but we walked the whole trail with full equepment.
Enough talk, here are some pics

Hi Vincent, done done for taking part in this event. Things like this help given some small idea of what it was like to be an infantry soldier in WW2.

Some friends of mine from the UK also took part.

    Cheers, Ade.

Fantastic Pictures, in fact if they had been black and white they would probably fool enough people to think they were taken in the era thanks for showing them.

woodhatcher, great reenactment pics. Thanks for posting.

Nick, that story and pic about the barking mad pug just cracked me up. Too funny!

    Hey Vincent

Lol I totally forgot about that, that sure was funny. For those who weren't there, our dog seemed annoyed and constantly barked at every reanactor that wore a British uniform, must be something they ate...

Here's a picture of her eating the hard needed supplies of the Americans:

@ Adrian Stevenson: Your right, at such an event, you really know what those guys done for us (we had -2 degrees, they -20).

@ Rick: thanks for your comment.

It was a very beautifull walk, only sad that I saw a female re-enactor wearing m41 with leutenant bars & a red cross, a lot of child soldiers (12-14-16 year old boys (and girls) who's wearing the wrong tunic/ equeptment and a lot of weapons). But I saw also very good groups.

    Kind Regards Vincent
