Hi Guys, this show is coming up at the weekend (Aug 1st & 2nd) and is a great little show. Our group, 2nd Guards, attends every year.

Here are a few pics from last year:

There will be a mock battle each day and a handful of stalls.

Would love to go as its not far from me. I am off to East Kirby again on 1st to see "Just Jane" power up. They are expecting a couple of Mustangs weather permitting.

They have a great museum in the hanger with lots of Luftwaffe relics on display which I cant wait to see again!

Last year I saw the amazing Dog Fight between a |Spit and a 109 (Buchon).

Hi Gary, I wish we could do an armoured train.

Hi Nick, believe it or not, I have never actually been there. I keep meaning to go but I never seem to get around to it. Several mates of mine are going this weekend in RAF kit. They are regulars there. I do have an A/G's uniform.

    Cheers, Ade.

Yes, when I went to see the dog fight last year there were many re-enactors there. There were a group of pilots sat around ready to scrambe with authentic kit, newspapers, record player etc.

The control tower had WAAFs flirting with the flyboys!

Ade, have you done Elvington, I remember a great "battle of Arnhem" re-enactment there a few years ago or do you just do Russian Army?

Hi Nick, yes that will have been my mates.

I have not been to Elvington for about 18 years.

    Cheers, Ade.
