    I don't think that camera is standard issue...


    This one made me laugh... the young soldat fell through the door onto his butt. He got up out of the door frame and this young lady was sitting in the background. :P

    You had the opportunity to see FiFi fly, the ONLY B29 flying today. She just returned to the air this year after, I think it has been a 4 year overhaul. She flow out our way but we missed her. In your photo with Rosie the Riveter in the jeep, I see a nice C-53 (or C-47, can't make out the rear door) in the background. The CAF wing my son belongs to have a airworthy C-53, just the same which has been traced back to be a D-Day invasion plane. My son has had the opportunity to fly in this plane a half dozen times or so.

    Hey man, I don't know how far in NY you live but if you are interested in reenacting, my unit is always looking for more guys!

    This coming weekend we are actually attending an event in Odessa, NY.
