1st Pattern - Unusual Catch Variant

This unmarked, 1st pattern aluminum buckle recently popped up for sale. Unusual catch for sure . Overall condition very nice especially the front-side. If anyone has any insight into this variant and a possible maker let me know

Kirby any Idea of maker ?? And I noticed your example has a raised area on the catch and Wellers is more flat.. Also there are tool markings on the prong bar of the Luft and none visible on yours... Just an observation....

Not sure who the maker is but I see what you mean about the catch. The tips of the prongs also look different .
