Early Luftwaffe Belt ???

Ive been given this rather beaten up Luftwaffe belt and buckle but I'm not quite sure what to make of it.Any Ideas?

It's an early Luftwaffe Droop Tail Buckle. Looks good although a bit beat up as you said. What name is on the leather, cannot make it out? Here's mine to compare, also slightly beat up.

Its very hard to make out, the last few letters have all but gone, but I thinks it is A. Helling or Hellings ?

That's an unknown to me. Hope Ben or Rob jump in, they're the guys who will know. Any markings on the buckle itself?

Both buckle and belt are both original and a bit worse for wear. Early Aluminium droop tail Luftewaffe with a nice 36 dated belt

Hi Ben, any idea as to maker? I cannot seem to find a Heling in any of the lists.

Ive had a good old look and there don't appear to be any markings on the buckle itself at all...

I don't know much about the leather makers....it's most likely that the maker of the belt is not the maker of the buckle. A worn piece for sure -but she's without a doubt original. Minty or well used....they're all good!
