    Nice buckle with great pebbling .. The catch reminds me of "Aurich" in a way, but it looks original to the buckle when produced...

    Interesting catch, Here is a steel Aurich with a similar catch. Your buckle must be a late production. All of my tabbed second pattern Luftwaffe are 38 or 39. I have several steel buckles with 40 dated tabs. I believe companies were aloud to use up their stock of aluminum.

    Yes, similar to Aurich catchs and also similar to Wurster catchs but different catchs...I haven't doubts about the catch is original to the buckle.

    a very interesting buckle with uncommon catch for this maker .

    All thinking about Aurich but i will stay that is a steel catch !!!!!

    Only buckle i know with a similar aluminium catch is a Luftschutz SHD in Aluminium :
