Very nice buckle. It all started with just a buckle and armband for me. And yes it does get addicting! You'll have a war room before you know it

Hi Emo and a big welcome to the forum your buckle is original and for me it was made by Dransfeld & Co Menden, attaches is one for example
    Hello,

sorry Ben but Dransfeld is not the maker !

I have take a look in databases and found a Nölle&Hück Lüdenscheid with the same design of eagle ,ears and catch .........

@Erno , do you know the L on backside for the catch ?

Could be Markus, both these makers had the thin ears and that mark on the catch

Well, I secured the buckle and pith emblem. I think I got them for a pretty good price, at $56 shipped. I will provide everyone with better pictures and a more detailed description when I receive it. Maybe that will clear up the question of the manufacturer.

Thanks again for the help with this!

I got the buckle in the mail today, and there is indeed a small 'L' near the catch. Does that confirm it as Nölle & Hück Lüdenscheid? Here are a couple of photos of it (in artificial light):

For fun, some pictures of the Heer pith emblem that came along with it:
