Luftwaffe buckles

Couple of Luftwaffe buckles for review first one is steel unmarked could be Assman maker? second one is aluminum with tab K&Q Kline and Quenzer 1936 no LBA on the tab of this one. timothy

Hi Tim, two original buckles, on the first one I would say its Assmann, has the pin shroud been replaced at all?

Not that I know of Ben I have had it for a long time but I don't know any history on it. I always thought Assman maker so thanks. timothy

Agreed and for me by way of the trifecta of "ears", catch and slightly concave curvature of the prongs. You will also find an Assmann marked steel SS buckle (I forget which #) with these characteristics as well.

And Lufftwafe buckle found I self in forest, condition de same very bad , after cleaning wiht lemon acid, maker stamp no.
