The steel buckle is Richard Seiper & Sohne Ludenscheid the aluminium one I am not sure.

Any makers marks on the aluminium buckle?

None that I can see, if fact I was not even sure if it was original or not, there was question when I purchased it..

Were the aluminum buckles used more toward the end of the war?

Article about: @Mike, the aluminium buckle is from 1936 to 1939 . At 1940 to the end of war are steelbuckles .
