    Has the pebbling been sanded/filed off? there seems to be traces of the pebbling in the top right hand corner and just below the centre of the wreath.
    It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.

    I would have to agree, the buckle is normally pebbled by this maker so probably sand papered off, nice a nice buckle by a hard to come by maker

    Could be a kind of "trench art ", When I was at Soviet army it was very popular to make Your own buckle looks a bit more attractive
    some were simply amazing

    Will check it once again.
