    Hello

The buckle is IMO a very nice original.
    LBAS means:Luftwaffe Bekleidungsamt Stuttgart.

Very nice original one.Whenever You want to give it a new home, just let me know.

    Greetings

Thanks Zorreke I planning too sell out my collection when I reach the pension age. In Norway this is at the age of 68.
If I die or get “gaga” before that, you probably find the buckle in my wife’s garage sale, or in the dumpster for free

    Greetings

No, sorry this is incorrect. For many years collectors thought that was the right location. But it has since been found to be:

LBA(S) = Bekleidungsampt der Luftwaffe Sonneberg

Documentation in the form of a paper label was discovered a couple of years ago which proves this to be the correct location.

    Cheers, Ade.

Hi,greetings-this looks not original..the Stamp in German would be "Gebrueder Schneider" wien?-not shure is just the spelling? (to me being german)but I could be wrong? The Thorns one up one down?? just to "New"?

    And then we go again..
Well, the maker Brüder Schneider spells their name this way, and since they were located in Wien they are Austrian, not German.
Do you collect german buckles Juergen, or is your post based on a feeling?

    Regards Arvid

    Gentlemen

Please believe our friend Ben.He's a vet in buckles.
Once again ,I'd like this buckle and would love to have it in my collection.
Be sure , I don't buy non originals.

(listened very well to my parents and studied well).

So no worries, Ben is right 100%!!!!
