Mint steel lw herman aurich buckle 1942 dated

Hi Chaps, I thought I'd show my latest. As you can see it's a mint (just a few storage marks) LW in steel by Herman Aurich, Dresden. It's dated 1942, the last year tabs where generally in use (I think). Interestingly it looks like the dyes were getting worn by '42 as the pebbling in the field, behind the eagle & the HA monogram (on the back) are getting faint (when compared to earlier examples)

That is a killer buckle! Looks as nice as when it was first manufactured! Not too easy to find buckles in this condition! Congrats on this fine pick-up!
