This buckle popped up local, and the owner is under the impression that it's worth a small fortune (aren't they all?;-), rock bottom price three hundred fifty dollars US. I'm thinking that's completely nuts, he's trying to prove me otherwise but I'm not convinced. It is pretty minty, but I'm thinking it's the crank catch version that's worth the most of these buckles (and maybe that's where he's seeing this price), but I don't know and can't find anything online to compare.

Crappy pics (not mine) but you get the idea. If it is worth that, I probably still wouldn't buy it, so if somebody else wants it let me know I'll give you his contact info.

Pics not the best but an original buckle, who is the makers mark on the tab? Cannot quite read it. And at $350 I think he is on crack!!!!!

the eagles head has a great deal of wear at least for me buckles aren't my major concentration, for $350 I don't think you would be able to get him down to a reasonable number from that level. try with reasonable offers if not you will find one down the road. also many times after some time sitting on it they will come down. just my 2 cents
