new drooptail and crank catch

Article about: I have my second crank catch Luftwaffe buckle. I am assuming it is early- there is pretty heavy wear with the leather intact but drying out. There are no markings on the buckle or the leathe

    Patrick, not all makers marked their buckles all the time, examples being Gustav Brehmer, Assmann, Overhoff, H Arld. Big makers but there are lots of unmarked buckles out there by these makers

    Adam has a nice crank catch listed on estand. If anyone is interested. He got it from me a couple of years ago. It was in a buckle collection I bought.
