    Nice pieces. Why are the the prongs on them silvered?

    Glad you like the buckle. Aurich must have not painted their prong bars. I forgot I had the same buckle without a tab and it has the same unpainted prong bar. It is interesting that the trademark is in a different spot on both buckles.

    Nice example Weller. Someone must have come up with a batch of these. A dealer at the SOS had a couple of these in 14. I would have gotten one but I thought he was way over priced.

    Adding a brown tabbed 1942 steel Aurich here in excellent condition. Same prongs etc. but for a small bit of old rust
