Opinion on Luftwaffe Buckle & Belt

Recently picked up this Luft buckle with belt off of a non-militaria Facebook auction page. Took a chance considering the less than desirable photos, however I'm not out a whole lot if a reproduction.

Should have it in the mail in a few days, however thought I would post it here for opinions.

These are all the photos I have (not mine, but the sellers), and I understand they aren't the best, however I know some on here can spot authentic vs inauthentic from a mile away, even with shoddy photos.

As soon as I have it in hand, I'll be sure to post much better photos. My main concern was the high shine of the front of the buckle. Was this common feature among some makers?

Looks like it has been chromed but hard to tell from the pictures, some soldiers did this for parades, some where done post war for decoaration

The buckle looks good from the back. The front does looked chromed. The belt has a political style catch so it really doesn't match up with a steel buckle.
